I am an engineer…
and still I love to get my hands dirty – when inspecting electrostatic precipitators, but also when doing some “therapeutic” tinkering on my classic cars.
During my professional development over the last thirty years – starting out as a commissioning engineer up to various management positions including Managing Director/CEO – with reputable OEMs and utility companies, the true “driver” of all processes, technologies and organizations became more and more apparent:
the individual human being.
From being a „coaching“ Manager to becoming Coach & Consultant
No idea, no matter how brilliant, no innovation, change or even normal daily routine operation in a power plant can really be successful and fulfilling, without the people committed to make it work with their personal engagement, enthusiasm and creativity.
I have therefore always seen myself as a “coaching” manager and have now complemented my leadership experience with effective and proven diagnostic and coaching tools and competences. Since May 2023 I am a certified Birkman®-Consultant and in 2024 I have successfully concluded my studies in Systemic Coaching and Change Management at the INeKO-Institute at the University of Cologne.

And – last but not the least – I have preserved my passion for the technology that started it all for me: as an expert for dedusting technologies I support plant owners and operators to keep their electrostatic precipitators fit for purpose for todays and future demands.
